Introduction to Security Officer Training - Entry Level Security Officer Training

This course is designed for individuals who wish to enter the security field, or who have never received formal training. Training introduces the student to basic duties of a security officer and authority of the security officer. Topics include: Security Officer Introduction, Communications, Legal Limitations and Authority, Public Relations, Emergency Situations, Access Control and Ethics.

The course is one 8 hour day and will provide the student with basic comprehension of a Security Officer's duties. Upon satisfactory completion of the course and a passing exam, the student will be provided with a Certificate and Transcript for employment prospects.

Security Officer Training

This course advances the student further into the position of a Security Officer with practical experience and classroom based knowledge. Topics include: Security Officer Duties, Law, Emergency Response, Report Writing, Homeland Security Issues, Communications and the Media, Situational Control, Mechanics of Arrest and Officer Conduct.

 

The course consist of two 12 hour days and will conclude with a final written examination. The student should have a thorough working knowledge of his/her duties as a Security Officer. The student will be awarded a Certificate and Course Transcript upon satisfactory completion of all course materials and a passing exam.

Armed Security Training Security Officer Course - Armed Security Officers
This course offers the student thorough knowledge in the safe defensive use of a handgun. The course consists of eight hours of classroom study and thirty-two hours of range time. Topics include: Mechanics of Revolvers & Semi Automatic Handguns, Carry and Storage of Firearm, Use of Force Including Deadly Physical Force, Legal Limitations, Threat Response Continuum and Practical Live Fire.

The course consists of five nine hour days that includes classroom study and practical course of fire. Upon satisfactorily completing all course requirements and a passing score for the written exam and firing course, the student will be awarded a Certificate and Course Transcript.

Students will be required to have: Appropriate State Licensing for Firearm, 500 Rounds of Ammunition and all regular duty gear.

Introduction Executive Protection

Learn the fundamentals of the bodyguard and what is required to be a Bodyguard "Executive Protection Specialist" through our one-day introductory course instructed by experienced operators.

Experience through practical exercises team movements and protocols used by US Diplomatic Security and Secret Service Teams.

Understand how the "Threat Assessment" and "Advance" are conducted.

This is an 8 Hour Course that will allow you to decide if you have what it takes to work in the VIP Protection Business and what it will take to further yourself in pursuit of a career.

Armed In-service Firearms Course - Minimum: Annual Basis
This course requires that the student has completed the NEA firearms course and is recommended every six months; the student may complete this course on an annual basis for continued certification with NEA. The course consists of two hours of classroom time and seven hours of range time. Classroom review of Safety, Firearms Mechanics and Use of Force will be conducted. Range qualification will allow for controlled range practice and instruction, with a final course of fire.

The student must satisfactorily complete a written examination and range qualification for Certificate and Course Transcript.

Students will be required to have: Appropriate State Licensing for Firearm, 250 Rounds of Ammunition and all regular duty gear.

Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) - Pepper Spray Certification Course
The student will acquire a general working knowledge of Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Aerosol Projectors, both technically and tactically, providing them with the skills necessary to carry and use on duty.

Prerequisites: All students must be a sworn law enforcement or correctional officer, federal agent, a state licensed security officer, or active military personnel. These courses are not available to civilian or private personnel. Each attendee must be physically fit for duty and able to perform the physical skills associated with tactical applications with the use of Oleoresin Capsicum.
